Leading Lines

Leading lines draw the viewer's eye to the point of interest or help create the illusion of depth and/or distance.

Leading Lines examples:

This is Steven, back in the day, at my house in Gambier, Ohio. For this pic, I wish I had moved to the right a little to put Steven in the corner. See how the
boards of the deck lead your eye to the focal point - Steven. While not perfect, I think it's a cool pic with good memories.
Note the grain of the photo. This is a film shot and the grain comes from mixing my film developer a litle too strong.

One of my favorite pics of all time. See how the concrete and the grass create a strong line directly to the focal point - Steven.
This is also a great example of Shallow Depth of Field.
